Descriptions of medications, labs and therapies explain what they are and how they are generally used. They do not mean any therapy will be prescribed for you or that any result will follow. Whether a medication is appropriate for you is decided by a licensed provider after evaluating your symptoms, your history and, where needed, your labs.
Some medications available through the patient portal are compounded by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient. Compounded medications are not FDA approved, are not the same as any FDA-approved brand-name product, and are prescribed only when a licensed provider determines they are medically appropriate. Off-label use means a provider prescribes an FDA-approved medication for a purpose other than its approved use, based on clinical judgment.
Who provides the medical care
Six Pack Seniors (Six Pack Seniors LLC) is not a medical practice and does not practice medicine. Consultations, lab orders, lab review, prescribing and ongoing monitoring are performed by independent licensed healthcare professionals and care team members with HLY Medical, an independent medical group, through the secure patient portal. Those professionals are licensed in the state where the patient is located at the time of the visit, and treatment options are determined independently by the provider. Prescriptions, when written, are filled by licensed pharmacies.
The free consultation is with a member-support specialist on the care team. Member-support specialists are not clinicians and do not diagnose, recommend treatment, determine eligibility or provide medical advice. A consultation does not guarantee a prescription.
